Today is my birthday, and I have at last completed my workbench. Not a bad present I think. And though it is in the living-room of my flat I am glad to have it. Hope to start some project soon.
    Thanks to Paul’s instructions.

Nice bench! I was wondering: why the deviation on the leg frames, from mortising through the wide faces, to mortising the narrow faces?

    1. This bench measures around 60” long and 38” tall.
    2. About mortise and tenon joint on the leg frame. l just thought that mortising through the narrow faces would make a more strong joint.

I like it. For some reason, maybe due to where it is or what it is sitting next to, it looks smaller than 60 inches long. Should serve you well.

Well done! I had almost forgotten what a clean workbench looks like. 🙂
    Enjoy it.

I am to keep it clean, at least in the evening. Not many, I suppose, would be very glad to have a workshop instead of a sittingroom, and my wife is among them.
So I have decided to paint it some shade of brown to mingle it with the two harps and the grand piano that are also in this very room.
