Gift Box by Ian Hemphill
After setting up my bandsaw for recutting, I ended up with a large stack of nice thin maple blanks just right for some small-box dovetailing practice. So I thought I’d combine that with the Christmas season and make some gift boxes to hold our homemade jams and dried herbs from our garden. Made seven boxes, with dovetailed corners, a shaped front and an inset bottom. Got lot of practice with some useful techniques from Paul’s videos, and some nice prezzies as a bonus. Thanks for all the inspiration, Paul!
