Made from a strange burnt wood called cambia maple. Don’t think I will use this wood again. Too brittle and crumbly.

I used oak pallet wood I’ve had for a year and a half. Aside from the obvious nail holes, the wood underneath was beautiful. Finished with Summer Oak stain and clear shellac. First piece that SWMBO has allowed me to put in a room of our home!

This is my first Table, made from Redwood Pine. I chose the simpler shaker style tapered legs. It is finished with several layers of pure tung oil. I plan to make another one soon to match it with a pair. It was a great learning experience.

Oak side table. Enjoyed finding the confidence to adapt Paul’s design to suit my requirements. Can’t stop stroking the tabletop, and love the stripes that oak gives. I’m gutted to be giving it away as a gift.

My first commission! A table for my sister in law’ birthday. Made in my small 10′ x 8′ workshop (shed really). The top and side panels are in European Oak and the tapered legs are in American Oak.

First table. I used the design from the occasional table for the skirt, and then I took a design off of another piece of antique furniture for the table top design. Completely hand tooled in cherry.

Made out of radiata pine on a very low workmate.

The wife wanted a couple of smaller tables to match a larger coffee table she had bought previously. It was made from Redwood based on Pauls Shaker table plans. I stained it with medium oak stain and gave it a coat of medium brown wax.
