Q: Misha, From your photos… it looks like your ladder step sides keep it from spreading by contacting the rear of the ladder at the top. Is that correct?
Q: Misha, are you in the USA? Where did you get the hinges you used? What wood did you use?
Q: With a subscription, Can I download the Plans/Video and save to my computer?
To Everyone: I have watched already, hundreds of Paul’s you tube videos, and purchased two of his books…and read/absorbed every word. I have also purchase additional books that he has recommended. Paul Sellers is without a doubt the best teacher on the internet today in my opinion.
I know the hinge type (trestle) used on this ladder is because of the stresses of the ladder trying to leverage itself apart. By having the screws mounted 90 degrees to that leverage makes it impossible for that leverage to pull the screws out…it must shear the screws to fail. I have not found this type of hinge made in the USA and could really use some help with that. If I find this type of hinges, I will probably make this ladder.
