Last post on the subject for you George Scales: I’ve promised my Kity to a friend, who is heavily into craft work. It spurred me to buy two blades, before I part company with it: a 6-10tpi variable premium 1/2” blade for £40, and a cheap £13 3tpi 3/4” rip blade from Axminster. The expensive blade chokes up quickly and cannot clear the sawdust, whilst the rip blade cuts oak boards book-matching like a hot knife through butter, without tracking. Had I not promised to give my machine away I’d be stashing it in a corner. 🤭
