The steel in bandsaw blades is hard and sprung so its quite useful:
• Cut, drill and use as a blade for a frame saw (see Pauls video on making frame saws). I made one about 20 years and it’s still going strong.
• Screwed either end to a pice of wood, use as a cut edge for tearing lengths of sand paper from a roll or just for cutting paper off a roll.
• Replacement scroll saw blade – thin fine toothed ones. Cut to length and drilled.
• Cut and screw lots of lengths – slightly offset – together to make a rough rasp. like the Japanese Shinto rasp.
• The steel is sprung so it’s good for making thin or shaped scrapers.
• Grind off the teeth and make a knife blade.
• Cut very short and sharpen for use in scrapers.
Some suggestions anyway.
