Sapele tool cabinet, great way to occupy time during COVID restrictions. Struggled with the grain until I purchased a scraper also the door stiles turned into propellers overnight so had to start again. Shaped the draw pulls out of some old gym bench boards. Trouble is wifey won’t let me use it as a tool cabinet !
The draws are sapele and oak

Wall Hung Tool Cabinet by Matt Sims
Hanging wall cabinet inspired by the “Sellers” one, for my garage. Apart from the plywood used in the doors and back panel, which I bought, this is all reclaimed wood; Some of the carcass from an old rubbish, painted white, chest of draws given away on freecycle, most of the rest from reclaimed roofing given to me by a neighbouring builder.(Seen in inset) Drawer fronts and knobs are apple, from my own garden, and drawer bottoms is ply recovered from the wood skip at local dump! Mostly finished in shellac with dark wax… drawers finished with wax oil. Quite chuffed with this!

I used all the same joinery as Paul showed but I added a section. Used mahogany for all but the panels and back which are olive ash. To top it off I carved a cartouche with my initials from lime wood.

My tool cabinet
Tool Cabinet by Farred
Made of pine and hardwood veneer plywood. Aside from the backboard, no screws holding this together. I used the sliding dovetail joint from the step stool project for the center divider. The plane till lifts up for hidden storage. I plan to attach a set of small drawers to the bottom eventually.

Tool Cabinet – Jam Cupboard Salvage: 100+ yr old salvaged (bruised, worm-holed) Douglas-fir with turn of the century mouth-blown glass.
Tool Cabinet by Michael O’Brien
Many firsts in this project – first dovetails, first turning, first raised panel doors. Timber is Fijian Mahogany, finished using Osmo polyx-oil. I’m a messy worker and like a lot of space to spread out. My work space is at the rear of our garage. I’m able to spread out on the bench, and store things away quickly in the cupboards below. All the tools I need, I can see quickly, the hanging tool cabinets assist me in the good work practice of “putting things back”

Pine cabinet, to hold about 90% of my hand tools I use. Doors were designed to hold a few other tools, Brass closures to hold the doors shut, when not in use. Finish is called Witch’s Brew, 50% BLO, and about every can of leftover stain in the shop. Cabinet is 3’wide,3′ tall, and 14″ deep, hinges are piano style.

First dovetail cabinet and half blind dovetail draws, as Paul says” I never remake anyone else’s project” so I added and changed parts and pieces of items useful to my work. Made of Maple and Walnut
Tool Cabinet, in memoriam, from Lisa Burt
I hope it’s okay to honor my late father here by showing off his handmade tool cabinet, made of maple and Koa wood from Hawaii. My dad (also named Paul 🙂 was thrilled when I discovered Paul Sellers and started hand tool woodworking about 3 years ago. Since Dad was no longer physically able to do woodworking, he gifted me all of his beautiful tools, however, he still wasn’t emotionally able to part with his beloved tool cabinet. My dad passed last March and his cabinet is now in my workshop, reunited with his tools, as well as a couple of Paul Sellers router planes and a Paul Sellers tool carrier I made. I feel a great connection with my dad every time I’m working wood at my bench (another Paul Sellers project!) Thank you!
