Found some more scrap 3 inch wide 4 inch tall pine. Scrubbed them down to 1/4 inch thick and made a pencil/pen box. It’s difficult to not go beyond the pencil line when cutting the joints in thin material.
Use a light hand no pressure put on the saw.

Yep a finer toothed saw would help.
I have five Dovetail saws three of them are 20tpi, 1 DT @ 18tpi and DT Vertias 14tpi.
The 18tpi seems to hit the sweet spot.
I also have a 6″ gents saw 24tpi handy for very small stuff.
Nice job that is the way to use up scraps of wood. Dove Tail’s look awesome.
