The widest board I seem to be able to buy readily in Australia is 250mm, so edge jointing narrower boards seems to be the way to achieve the required dimensions. With the seat and legs being 280mm wide, what would be the best number of widths to use?
I go with what will look good to you! I made mine out of maple so glueup wasn’t noticeable as say oak can be. I used two boards
