good company ken its cheaper for me to shop with axminster and get gear delivered very reasonable and super fast delivery. by the way ken did i see a post of yours that you have a old stanley 13-050 combination plough plane .how do you find it? can justify paying the price of veritas .i see the 050 is going for a lot less on e.bay than the record 044. any thoughts

David, apart from the plastic handle it is a great little plane. Good fence, good blade adjustment. It will do everything the more expensive ones will.
I dont think you will go wrong with it buddy.
Good to see them keeping jobs at home. No matter where you are on the planet, I think that is the key to having a prosperous/healthy community.
Plus, the name of the town/company is groovy!
