I have been looking for a good affordable combination square for a while now. Some i have seen in the shops are shockingly bad to the extent that its possible in some cases to move the (locked) blade a couple of mill laterally. So i decided to try ebay. i just managed to win the bidding on a Moore & Wright combination square. i dont know how old it is. Its all imperial and the font looks vaguely like copperplate, and the blade locks solidly square in the stock, the whole thing has a solid feel to it, built to last.
