Welcome! / Forums / Project Series / Frame Saw / Bandsaw blade offcuts
I was reading the other day on the UK Workshop forum how good the bandsaw blades from Tuff Saws (http://tuffsaws.co.uk) are, and how helpful Ian John the owner is. So I dropped Ian a line to ask if he could cut lengths for me to make a frame saw, rather than me buy a welded band which I then have to snap. He provided me with a few offcuts of varying types, all cut to 600 mm. I would highly recommend dropping him a line if you need blades.

very kindly made me bespoke blades for a Tom Fidgen style frame saw and kerfing plane. The blades are very well made, their prices quite competitive, and company service was, as usual, all I could ask for.
Still haven’t done any project related re-sawing by hand.
