Welcome! / Forums / General Woodworking Discussions / Beginnings of a Journal
Well I thought as I was starting woodwork afresh by leaving machines behind and learning hand tool skills I would take up the batten and start my journal.
As part of the journal I have watched the additional videos of stock preparation and sharpening etc: From these I’ve turned my notes into full pages on each subject so I have a reference on everything as I continue my journey.
I’ve added the first two drafts as attachments, hopefully I’ve interpreted what I watched correctly lol.
Any thoughts or other suggestions of stuff that could be included.
Nicely done Mark 😉
Just thought you might want to amend something.
The file that is should be use for topping/jointing teeth is a bastard. Single cut Millsaw File.

The file also used for the edge on card scrapers. The single cut, cuts cleaner than a double cut file.
Thank you very much Mark for the heads up and the link very much appreciated.
