I made one of these and find it useful on everything round so far as it arcs over the peiece and follows the contours. I see someone has made a commercial version which is sold, I believe, by Veritas. Anyone have any experience with this tool?
Farris, I have a couple of home made bow sanders. They are great small projects for children that are interested in starting woodworking. They get to make them and then use them making the next one 🙂 Unfortunately I can’t see the photo of yours but I assume it will be similar to mine. I use mine for any curved surfaces and generally have three grades of sandpaper available.
