Hi all
I’m about to begin making the Bred Stow but I’ve got a couple of questions I was hoping someone might be able to help me with:
There seem to be almost 12 feet of wooden strips for the bottom support, inside strips and lid support strips. Is this correct?
Also, page 2 of the diagram says the base is 343mm long but the cutting diagram says it’s 330mm long. Similarly, the page 2 diagram says the base is 244mm but the cutting diagram says it’s 241mm. Are these errors or am I missing something?
The bottom is inside the box, so it’s a bit smaller than the outer dimensions. You’ll cut it to fit.
You’ll have plenty of left over wood from cutting the strips, but I found that I needed a bit of extra due to mistakes. However, the lid support strips amount to maybe 12″ total, so you definitely don’t need a 44″ strip like the cutting diagram says.
