    I made one and its very handy all out of scrap wood, the legs out of 2×1 oak which I glued together to get the correct size to form the hexagonal legs and the two top boards out of ash off cuts, the laminated bearers took some time and they actually failed and sprung apart due to poor hand planning to 6mm thickness so cheated and had a friend run some off for me.
    A nice little stool and more knowledge skills acquired.
