Hi im very new to woodworking and the masterclasses so forgive me if im posting in the wrong section.
I recently bought my first tool at a car boot/market the other day and was looking for some advice. I was hoping someone could point me towards a video or thread that describes restoring and setting up a smoothing #4 plane. Also i was wondering what these usually go for incase i made a poor purchase, i payed £5 for it so it wasn’t that bad i dont think. Anyway enough rambling any advice would be helpfull, i tried to include pics but the filesize must be too big sorry.
