Got to be worth the investment. Will be superb when clamping up the workbench timbers.
(No I am nothing to do with the company)
Keith,
I bought the very same clamps just before Christmas. They are good clamps and very well priced, you wont go wrong with them buddy.
Ken 😉
I have those as well. They’re very sturdy, strong clamps but I find the size far too long for most uses. I used them on my workbench build, along with some 2′ and 3′ clamps and found the 4.5′ ones really difficult to maneuver. They’re still great value and will likely come in handy for future builds.
These are the 3′ ones I bought a while back:Â http://www.rutlands.co.uk/hand-tools/clamps-&-vices/clamps—bar/DKWK1/bar-clamps-with-heavy-duty-jaws
Rutlands are great for clamps!
George.
George,
Yes I agree it would be nice if they made them in shorter lengths, but still very good clamps. I was looking at the clamps in your link, how are you finding them in use.
