Child's desk based on Paul's Leaning Wall Shelves

Took a while to finish this between other projects and work (a year and four months to be exact), but finally completed it today…
The shelves and uprights are poplar, the desk is walnut with a resin inlay and sycamore stringing. There’s an LED light recesssed into the first shelf to illuminate the desk. The uprights are splayed outwards to give more room at the front of the desk than at the back.

His knees will fit under it for another two years according to the growth charts, and then I can make some blocks to raise the whole thing a few inches.
