    I have never heard the term “knobby protuberance” before…

    Cliftons look like very nice planes. I would not refuse one if someone gave it to me. 😉

    Clifton make very good planes.
    They are one of the only company’s that still make a multi plane, it also has a very high cost as of about £800 defiantly would not turn one of those down.
