I saw this technique in a video I recently watched and want to know more information about how to do this by hand but I can’t find the right google search terms to come up with what I’m looking for.
Basically the joint is a drawer divider on a bedside table or dresser drawer where there isn’t a face frame. The side of the main carcass has a dado then I believe the next step is to cut a single dovetail recess into the dado. The end of the actual divider looks like a tenon with a longer segment that is a dovetail.
I’ve attached a picture that was on wood-w.com but can’t actually find a guide on how people make these particularly the divider piece without using a router table.
Any thoughts?
I completely forgot about this. I’ll have to check it out again. Thanks.
