Finished my dovetail template per Paul’s Youtube videos, http://youtu.be/0dPb_5KFEYk , http://youtu.be/hYpWldwGHFY. Used a piece of cherry left over from making spoons and spatulas.

I must have tried at least 8 times to get those angles cut correctly. I made mine out of hard maple and it works great. Another thanks goes to Paul for showing us this invaluable tool.

Did anyone notice in Paul’s blog post from the other day that he mentioned that he has designed a new dovetail template?
Is it wrong that I’m excited about it? I love shop made tools!
