Ken had asked me to post some pictures of the pens I’ve been making. I didn’t have any unwraped but here are a couple of other items. These are disposable razor handles and a pencil. These things are pretty easy and fast to make and they are great gifts. I’ll even make one out of a branch from your favorite tree from your own back yard! And then I get to buy more hand tools!!!!
Very nice Sandy. Do you use one of those mini lathes? I’ve always been fascinated by lathe work.
Thanks for posting.
Nice work Sandy. I also picked up a used Mini Lathe awhile back and have done a couple pens with my 11 and 8 year old and really enjoyed it. So did the boys as it was a ‘quick’ project for them to see results on. I have never done a razor handle so might have to try that.
Thanks for the pics

Thanks guys. Yes they are easy to make. Woodcraft and most of the wood working supply houses have assortment of pens and other items like the razor handles. Even small LED flashlights. I found a whistle kit last time I was in Woodcraft. I haven’t put it together yet but it’s going to look nice hanging on my backpack! And if you feel like you need to do some hand working stuff you can make a nice dovetail presentation box!
