This is my first effort at straightening a handsaw blade. I used the method explained by Bob Rozaieski. I bought the saw online some time ago and never used it since it had a pronounced curve, a bit of twist, and a slight kink as well. It cut but poorly. It tended to go offline and to jam in the cut. Rozaieski warns that you are likely to ruin the first few saws you try to straighten, but I figured that the saw plate was in mediocre shape anyway, even without the curve, so I gave it a try. It did straighten pretty well. Though it is not perfect, it is now quite usable. It saws straight and does not jam at all.
