Not sure where to put this post in the forums but I wanted to get my vote in for the next project after the coffee table. I would like to build PS’s joiners chests (the 2 chests he had at the Woodworking shows and can be seen in the videos). I think it would be a great project with many uses. I plan on building a set for my tools and a couple more sets for my kids. My kids love boxes with lids and drawers so I would probably scale them down a little for their use. Hopefully even get them to help build them!

Rodney, its not the joiners toolchest I’m interested in, its the frame and panel construction, half-blind dovetails, drawers, and drop down lid that make up the tool chest that I am most interested in. All these techniques are new to me which is why I am most interested in it.

About as many as there is for rocking chairs I would say

The rocking chair series is already done, so I don’t think you will have to wait to long Rodney 🙂
I am also chomping at the bit for a tool box. Makes perfect sense to me that we would need somewhere to securely stow the minimalist tools that are integral to Paul’s curriculum. Frame and panel construction, as well as hinge&lock installation are two procedures I would really like to learn.
I am now working on variations of the dovetail boxes now in preparation. If the rocking chair does come next, I would probably move onto the table instead.

Don’t get me wrong though. I am excited about the rocking chair as well. Even if it is not in the order I would prefer.
