You will be able to make a fine shop in that space. I have a 2 car garage ( about 6.5 meters by 8 meters) and took a small corner for myself. It is still a work in process, but it works for me.
That little stand on the right is the bottom part of a kitchen cabinet. I got it for $10 at a salvage yard and cut a scrap piece of pine for the top.It works as I keep my sharpening stuff set up on it. I found I sharpen up more by having everything out and accessible rather than having to remove my work from the vise, get the stones out, go find my water, etc….
Oh, and the bookshelf on the left was a free find on the side of the road. I need to organize it a bit. You can see one saw next to it, and I have another one hanging next to it. My thought is that tools I find myself reaching for the most will go on the shelf or hanging next to it. I am going to use the cabinet on the right for lesser used things like files, extra pencils, band-aids, etc..
great news Max thanks for helping a shed, i run one in liverpool and we welcome any help we can get .
@edfly – this morning I took them my old kity spindle moulder table saw morticer and another table saw and they where delighted with it.
It was also an eye opener for me. Their shed is really cool and I love what they are doing for people who have had strokes. I had honestly never heard of mens sheds until you mentioned it.
Thanks
@maxwheeler thank you so much the shed movement(ukmsa) needs people like you to support them, i was introduced to them by another wwmc member @daveg just over a year ago and now i’m about open my own in my local town so once again thank you .
Hi Eddy
I am pleased it has worked out good for you. I would be interested in hearing how your Shed journey progresses

David
