Planes are terrific! Saws are very nice too. <cough>But I don’t have an addiction to either</cough>. User bench planes are pretty easy to find around here, saws less so. <gloat>I just bought a very clean, full iron matching #3, #4, and type 17 #6 for $85. So far my best saw find has been a Disston and Son (no ‘s’), one bolt short of complete, incl. nib for $4.</gloat>
My favorite plane by far, is my LN #8, which SWMBO got for my birthday several years ago.
Just moved to NE Ohio
SWMBO bought you an excellent plane my friend. 😉
I’m keeping quiet about my hand plane, saw, chisel, etc. (Hand tools in general) addictions 😀  Not so much a collector, but more of an accumulator. I’ve several nice samples of tools from previous centuries. 🙂
