I built the Paul Sellers shooting board and it works pretty well except I have one issue that I am wondering about. My 90 degree works great. My 45 degree angle that is closest to the 90 degree fence also works great. However, I am having trouble understanding how the other 45 degree angle (closest to the bottom of the shooting board) will work. There isn’t much room at all for the plane to rest and slide forward. I have a small piece of L moulding here and that is even difficult. If it was 3 inches wide, there would be no place to rest the plane. Also in this case this wouldn’t work because I’d be trying to plane the point of the L-moulding first. Maybe I am missing the obvious. It is quite possible! Lol. But so far, I’m not getting it. Please see my attached picture. Thanks for your help!!!
