Interesting video Ken, you would wonder with their history and experience what is stopping them from making the worlds best woodworking hand tools, there cannot be many other businesses were the products they made 50 to 100 years ago are better than the ones they produce today
Interesting video Ken. It’s a shame the quality of their products has dropped to low. Even now, when they try to produce a quality product they still can no longer get it right.
I feel sorry for the guy who has been there 50 years. He has seen the quality drop first hand.
Very interesting, one of the first tools I remember “playing with” in the early ’70s was my Dad’s Stanley Yankee screwdriver. Thanks Ken.
The introduction of the Yankee Screwdriver was a step change in carpentry it significantly increased the speed at which you could drive in screws, although it was very easy to have the bit jump out of the screw head and skid across the job.
