Sharpened my chisels. Wow! Much easier than I thought it would be, and very fast. It was cool seeing just how sharp they can get. I was able to part through pine like butter. I’m excited to work on a plane next. 🙂
I finally switched from Arkansas stones to diamond stones and I’m glad I did. I cannot believe how much faster and less messy they are to sharpen. I put my Arkansas stones on Ebay and decided to just let them go. The final straw was that the Arkansas stones were not flat and cut slow. The edge of my plane blades had an”S” shaped curve. It just bothered me.. After I bought my diamond stones, I searched the net on reviews and I’m amazed on how many people look down on them. I think Paul and one other professional were the only two to brag about them about the longevity and the fact they remain flat got years.
I think you will like these for years to come!
I got mine a few weeks ago. Also surprised at how quick the process is with them. I’d been using the sandpaper “scary sharp” method, which is just a pain in the neck. I can now hone any chisel or plane blade in just a couple of minutes. So my tools stay nice and sharp now.

The little bit I have used the Diamonds I like so far.
