I’ve written a tip which I sent to Popular woodworking on how to bore with a forstner bit using a hand brace quickly and effortlessly. They were over the moon about it and Megan immediately sent me an email that it will get published if I sell it to her in the next issue. Is it a deal I said yes so I will recieve a US$200 gift voucher from Lee Valley tools. I also sent one to FWW but I haven’t heard from them yet and if I do I will have to decline them, doesn’t matter I prefer Popular ove FWW they have more on hand tools than them.
I also sent it to Tom Fidgeon prior to anyone else he loved it and included it in his video but it’s in the subscribers section. In fact he’s writing to me now. Gotta go.
Congratulations. I have been wondering how to do that. I’ll be looking forward to seeing it.
Way to go at last. And just think we know the guy that wrote it. So munch for your five min. Of fame.
All kidding aside you did good

lol
I thought you were still at Disney world. btw did you get it?
Hey, that’s great!
I no longer get Pop Wood. So in case I missed something, you care to give the boring secret here?
Sorry bro but that would be a violation of trust.
I just received the gift card via email this morning I made a mistake it’s not for US$200 but US$250.
I wonder what I should get any suggestions anyone, there is that shooting plane I would like to try but my la jack works fine cause of the shooting board design I have. Then there is the veritas inlay set that would be nice or a small skewed rabbet plane.
Hey, Congrats Salko!
Whatever you get – be prepared for the bill from Canadian Post though! Whenever I’ve dealt with Lee Valley directly, I seem to always remember the sting in the tail from shipping to Oz. I wish that LV had a distribution centre in the US. Dealing with Lee Valley would be much more predictable then! US post rates are comparatively quite reasonable.
Cheers
