Just found this on Ebay. I’ve never seen one myself so I thought I would share.

Yep first for me as well.
I was bidding on an E. Preston router plane I bid £80 but I think it went up to about £130 little rich for me. Shame as it is a good router and hard to get hold of and to have as it has a wider footprint.

Mark you can sometimes pick one up here……http://www.oldtools.co.uk/

But they sell very fast, they go for a lot less than £130 though.

In the last couple of months there’s been a couple of Edward Prestons that have gone for around £15. It’s another tool for the wish list. It doesn’t matter how many I buy my list gets longer.

For the record that seller is a known dealer and his prices are normally extremely high. He does not get complaints on his tools just the proces. Also you can usually get the stuff off of his web site cheaper then the ebay adds. Many think he sets the ebay adds to attract people to his site. I am not saying he is bad. Just let it be known he is a dealer and is profit driven so prices will be higher.

I have bought a tool from this guy and his tools are in good condition, but like John says, you pay a premium. Check out his website, Jim bode tools for some interesting and rare tools.
