    Some progress photos of the tool box on stand.
    The lid and some details are still not done, but getting closer.

    Nicely done but stand looks iffy. Just doesnt look stable to support a box full of tools.

    I have not attached it to the box yet to test it, you might be right after all. In the end I wanted to see the box on a stand in real life, maybe as a test for some future project. We shall see, if it doesn’t work, I still have the box and some fun.

    Attached is on of my bucket list projects, a Spanish Bargueno.
    Amazing skill level those guys had. A box on a stand.

    The lid is on, some tools in the box. The latch is next and on to the next project.

    I just noticed the studs that’s a very nice touch to the box in fact it was common practice in the 18th century to tack their dovetails. Not everyone did it ofcourse but there is historical evidence of it being done.

    I like that Spanish box.

    i am quite sure that by now all my friends and family would like to hear about something else besides “the box”. I am sure my fellow woodworkers can relate.

    Lol everything we make starts off as a box so you will never stop talking about the box unless you give up working wood altogether.

    Here’s something to make you ponder and there is a correct answer this is not a trick question.

    Do you make an arras or take an arras off?
