Got 6 @ 600 mm and 4 @ 1200 mm
Just glued some ply pads to cramps
Nice and light and with the quick release easier to set up.
Should be strong enough for my projects.
If it comes to it I have T bar sash cramps from 2 ft to 7 ft theses things can really cramp up.
If anyone in the USA is looking for something similar, I have picked up very similar clamps at Harbor Freight. They are sold under the “Pittsburgh” brand. A 24″ clamp can be had for under $10

Hi @frankman111 – I bought a bunch of these silverline clamps from amazon.co.uk: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-VC64-Aluminium-Clamp-1200mm/dp/B000LFVHQA/ref=sr_1_21?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1422482790&sr=1-21&keywords=clamps
They are fairly cheap and work well. I notice that Paul uses similar ones (although they are not silverline brand, but look the same) but he has put a length of wood down the middle of the aluminium body – for extra rigidity I assume.
