I started a series on my blog about making knotted pulls for drawers and cabinet doors. They are pretty simple to do and add a unique touch to projects. I thought I would share them here as well. I use #72 tarred nylon and a little CA glue but just about any twine will work.
Below is a photo of the three pulls I have created. In the photo from left to right: (4) crowns and a wall knot, tack knot with wall knot neck and a star knot with wall knot neck. Also, here is a link to instructions for the first pull in the series.
I hope you find them useful.

Greg your picture is rather large and it takes a while to download. Nice knots though. My Wife and I have done leather work for many years. She is much better then I at Tying knots though. I’ve thought about button heads and braiding incorporated into some of my projects but just haven’t done it yet. Thanks for posting.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Thanks Sandy. Sorry about the large photo. Anything smaller and they just looked like black blobs.
I have an old book that has a wooden serving tray project with a braided edge all around. I keep meaning to make it and put up a post.
