Anyone seen lists of books/websites/videos that focus on hand tool only projects? Paul obviously has the keepsake box and dovetail box videos, both great, but I want more options. For each project I’d like a picture of finished product, materials/cut list, and high-level step-by-step instructions.
background:
I’ve read/watched almost everything Paul has online. I have a tiny space (8’x4′), so only have room for hand tools and small power tools. Have all the basics (saws, planes, chisels, scrapers, marking/measuring tools, etc) and know how to sharpen and use them. This year I want to build a box for each of my nieces/nephews. Would love to send them a bunch of pics or links and have them help “design” the box by picking the wood, joint type, finish, etc.
Hi there Tim,
I’m sure there are plenty of others, but I’ve recently come across the Wood and Shop channel on youtube. They say they have plans and projects etc.
I’ve got so many projects from WWM to get through before I have to worry about other sites 😉
Also, Paul did a hope chest video series as well if that would be a good starting point for inspiration and technique?
