Doing the work on my clock with coping saw was quite hard work with wood being 7/8″ thick thought I look for a Bow saw.
I’ve had a look on ebay but don’t like what I have seen. They look like they might fall apart or snap and getting blade to match the width may be a problem.I have found Gramercy make one off the peg $150 they also supply blades.
They also have plans for bow saw which you can download .If I cannot find maker over here I probably have a stab at making one. Pegasus Make blade so Maybe get in UK.
