maple coat hanger

I made myself a coat hanger in frustration with not being able to find anything good enough,
It is made from hard maple, a bit fat and ugly but it’s very very strong, I used a through mortise and tenon for the main hook then wedged it into the door with a round mortise and tenon as I want this to be permanent in this case.
I find it ironic that paul has just released the new coat hanger video today on the morning I complete this lol
I’ve attached some photos, let me know what you think,

Really like the round wedged mortise and tenon for attaching to the door – while you could screw, countersink and even plug, this way looks nicer and very craftsman-like.
