Last week I cut the “knobs” off the to top of my Narex chisels. Tonight I started reshaping the handles…so far so good. They fit my hand much better know and are a little lighter.

    Thoughts?…..

Yeah they look much better Greg. More like the Narex Cabinetmakers Chisel now.

Excellent work on those. The Narex chisels I have purchased in Canada are slightly different. They have a dark stain applied on them, and are imperial sizes. To increase durability, I applied 3 coats of gloss lacquer to the handles.I found them much more comfortable in the hand, and I am able to wipe them clean after use.

    Nice improvement Greg.

Are you an architect or engineer by trade? The “storage box” lettering and line work in the photo gave me sudden flashbacks to my mechanical drafting classes in high school and college.
