Today I finally finished the oak table I made during the foundation course at Penrhyn castle. After working on it for 3.5 days it was glued up but the top still needed planing.
The top has been planed now and I finished it with danish oil + furniture wax.
The candle box I did during the same course is receiving a French polish treatment. More on that later.

Forgot to include a picture.
At the start of the project I paid close attention to grain direction and color; picking the best faces to go onto the outside of the table. Then several mistakes happened (cutting the internal mitres on the wrong) and I had to make sacrifices.
All in all I’m very happy with it.

Very nice WEslee that is actually beautiful can you take some shots of the top, I think danish oil is a great choice for this. I’m impressed old boy congrats is in order.
