New member here. I thought an introduction would be in order.
My name is David I am 49 years old and I live in Independence Oregon, USA. I am really enjoying the video series. I cant wait to start building some of these projects and developing my skills. (I am currently without a shop but am working to remedy that)Paul’s presentation is so personable I feel as if I am in the shop watching him work. I would love to meet him someday.

Welcome David. I’m sure you will find the crowd here to be a little different than is encountered in many parts of the internet. The forums here enjoy a much friendlier and more mature tone than I think I have seen almost anywhere else.
Never be afraid to ask questions, or to share mistakes; most of us have had the same or similar questions and made the same mistakes once, if not many times.
The people here are helpful, friendly and collectively fairly knowledgeable. Paul is a great teacher and endeavors to answer questions and engage even us long distance students as much as he can.
