Old saw blades

    What kinds of useful things can old saw blades be used for? I have one that won’t be sawing any longer and didn’t just want to throw it out if I can repurpose it. Thanks.

    I was thinking that, Ken. Should I treat the edges nice when cutting, or can I rough it out with a dremel tool, then nicen them up?

    I heard that you can use them as cabinet scrapers. My friend tried it once but said it didn’t work very well. I think it depends on the saw. New ones tend to only be hardened on the blades so I don’t think they would be so good.

    Dave ……I think either way would do, as long as the finished edge is done properly.
