    Wow Ken That is the most comprehensive tune up I have seen , Lots of handy tips, watching how long it took him to sharpen up the blade made me appreciate Paul’s method even more. I don’t need another No 4 plane but watching the video made me want to have another go at tuning one up

    Thanks Ken, I like to fettle tools and I all ways enjoy watching others resurrect old tools. I personally do not own any “New” planes as I have some very nice Vintage Stanley’s ( both Bailey style and Bedrock’s ), Keen Kutter K Series ( similar to Stanley’s Bedrock series ) all with matching blades no new iron’s.
