Hi all
After scouring the Internet I wonder if anyone could help. I’m intrigued about the number system record vices come in, and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what it all means.
1/ the vices concerned come in 52, 52 1/2, 53, 53 1/2 – what does this number system mean, does it mean a bigger jaw width or opening size
2/ after the numbering, there is sometimes letters – A, D, E and P etc. I’ve come to the conclusion that D is for Dog, i.e it has the build in dog hole, but what about the A, E and P? There are also sometimes combination of letters.
Anyone any ideas ?????
Opposite to quick release I guess.
A = Arm strength
p = Patience
Both of which I have to find and use lol.. Couldn’t resist
Thanks on the sizes I never really knew either. 😉
