Restored this egg beater drill

I wish I would have taken a before picture, but here is the finished result. It didn’t turn out half bad 🙂

I may take it apart and repaint the main part black, but I kind of like the old/worn look to it. The main gear was red, but it was chipped an faded. I had a can of green paint laying around so I figured why not. I also had to scrape years of grime and grease off the handle and knob. sanded it down with some 220 and finished with 3 coats of a brown tinted shellac.

The best part was that I paid less than $10 for it.
