Made from butcherblock I rescued from the garbage. Maybe 70% handtools on this build. Ripping/resawing was done on a table saw because I don’t have that much time on my hands :).
I would have loved to put a second shelf but it was custom built to fit above/around the dog-bowl holder I had built previously. My monster needs to be able to fit his head between the two.
Excellent project, Joe. I like the way the bevel on the top matches the bevel on the top of the dog dish holder. And I love the re-use of old materials that were going to go to a landfill!! Congrats.
My first attempt at making a dowel. Wish I had (or made)a dowel cutter… these didn’t come out exactly round. Close enough though.
