The plane wasn’t in the worst condition. Some discoloration on the sides and sole. The blade was rusty too.
I flattened the sole on some sandpaper on a granite tile, sanded the sides and sanded the rust out of the blade. I then free-hand honed the blade.
Putting it all back together I managed to get it to make some shavings.

Can use them similarly to a block plane
I have a Quensheng no.1
Lie- Nielsen do one as well.
Just had another look at your and definitely looks smaller than my no.1 so we’ll call it no. 1/2 lol
