Thank you Serhiy it does take a lot of patience but that’s woodworking in general if you rush it you make a mistake. You can buy many of these patterns online but you can never rely on them for accuracy and I always modify them to suit my tastes, they only serve as a reference to me and always needs to be redrawn. Every drawing I make is done using autocad it’s an architectural and engineering software created by auto desk. I own about 100 different patterns most of them I haven’t even gotten around to making them I’m sure it’s going to take a lifetime before I get around to do them. I thoroughly enjoy what I do but unfortunately I have other jobs I have to do to make ends meat. One day I hope to have a shop like gallery and solely make clocks and period furniture for a living but until the mind set of people change from cheap mass produced made in China rubbish its hard to earn a crust from this type of work.
