Hi all,
I was reading through one of my wife’s magazines, of all places, and saw an ad for a synthetic shellac and I was wondering how this compares to natural shellac in terms of odour while finishing, cure time, durability. Has anyone used it?
Cheers,
Jeff
Never heard of synthetic shellac. Can’t imagine it is any easier than the real thing.
But I do have an answer to your rehab question. As a new home owner many years ago, I asked my Father how to trim a small fruit tree I had in the front yard. His answer: “With a pair of shears in your hand….” That stumped me for a while but it was his way of saying…don’t over think it, just get out there and do it. It won’t be perfect and you probably will not kill the tree.
That advice has served me well on many different levels…
