Tapered Legs

Good job Ken…tapered legs are in my future as well. Any issues you can share?

Greg, apart from nearly marking the tapper on the wrong side of the leg once or twice. Also I think I should have chopped out the mortices first, but I cant see that being a real problem, It went better than I thought, I need to think things through before diving in HaHa 🙂
One suggestion I have is to taper the legs partway and then wait a couple of days. You may see the leg warp a little as new wood is exposed to the air. If one or two legs are particularly bad, relegate them to the back of the table. Save the best legs for the front. Then finish the tapering.
